At Stapleford Baptist Church, we believe that everyone is valuable to God. Therefore, we seek to welcome, equip and support children, youth and their families. We want each individual to discover who God is; to grow their relationship with him and to share this with others. We are committed to helping our children and young people learn about Jesus and grow in their understanding of Him, whether that’s on a Sunday morning or on a Friday at Illuminate. We also seek to support families, organise courses and offer helpful resources as we do life together.
Safeguarding
We are committed to safeguarding and to promoting the welfare of all our children and young people. Read our Safeguarding Statement.

Sunday Mornings
We begin our Sunday services altogether and then our youngsters are invited to join their small group leaders to learn more from the Bible. Visiting children are more than welcome to join in, with or without their grown ups. We also have challenge sheets, activity packs and busy bags to help our children participate in the service.
We have three children’s groups:
Crèche (ages 0-3)
Volunteers care for the very young and share stories and activities with them.
SBC kids (ages 4-10)
Our volunteers use imaginative and creative ways to share the Bible – there are songs, stories, quizzes, crafts, puzzles and drama. Activities and learning are adapted to those in the group so everyone has fun and learns despite the large age range.
SBC Youth (ages 11+)
Our volunteers use imaginative and creative ways to share the Bible – there are discussions, quizzes and puzzles. On the first Sunday of the month, our SBC Youth remain in the service and have activities to complete as they listen to the talk. They then meet together with their leader (and some snacks) to talk through what they heard.

Fridays
Illuminate (ages 6-16)
We run Illuminate on Friday evenings from 6pm to 7:30 pm for those aged 6 and over. This is a time of high energy crazy games, quieter crafts and time to study the Bible in age appropriate small groups.
Contact the Church Office for more details, and see information on parking.
