PastorI’m married to Lauren with three primary-aged children. We moved to Stapleford in 2023 and are loving making the town and the church our home, although I doubt, I’ll ever pick up the accent! I enjoy getting out on the bike and beating one of my fellow elders (who shall remain anonymous) at tennis.

Church LeaderI am a widower, now retired after a career in the healthcare industry, with three grown-up and married children. It has been part of my life’s work to be a leader at SBC. It is truly fantastic to see how God continues to work in and through us. In addition to helping in the church I am often to be found hopelessly hacking around local golf courses.

Church LeaderI’m married to Charlotte with 2 adult sons. We’ve been at Stapleford since 1997 and worshipping at SBC since 2010. I work full time, managing employee benefits for a large multinational company, and enjoy walking, running, reading and travel.

Church LeaderI am married with three grown up children. I am an engineer by profession although I currently work in large project management. I became a Christian in my mid-teens and have been in a variety of churches but settled in SBC some years ago. I have a passion for telling children about Jesus and believe that small group bible study is hugely helpful to growing more like Jesus

Office LeadI am the person you will find on the other end of the office email address. As the Elders’ Administrative Assistant my aim is to keep the “ducks in a row”. The ducks do have a habit of wandering a bit though!
I arrived in Stapleford from Sussex via Leeds some 30 years ago, marrying Nick (the Geordie who doesn’t sound like one) and making SBC my church family. We have 3 adult children and with the recent departure of our 2 pet house rabbits the nest is indeed “empty”. However, the arrival of our first grandchild suggests that a new era is on the way.

Key person in the teams running: Refresh, MyTime, Brain and Soul Boosting and feeding the churchI became a Christian in 1986 at SBC during a mission meeting my sister in law had invited me to. The preacher, Eric Olson, was preaching from John 4 and for the first time in my life I heard about Jesus and His amazing love for me.I love gardening, walking, meeting people, and have recently taken up Watercolour Painting and Lino Printing.
At SBC I am involved in Refresh, MyTime and I often organise food for meetings and events. -

Welcome Team LeadHi my name is Eunice, I am married to Andrew and I am blessed with two super, loving families. Two? My children and grandchildren and my friends at SBC (some new, some I’ve known for ages!)
What do I like to do? Gardening which includes chatting over the garden fence, jigsaws, crosswords (easy ones), reading whodunnits, helping Andrew with DIY, spending time with friends, going to concerts. I have a reputation for cooking soup and for reading genealogies for a church service! But my favourite part of the day is reading my Bible and praying.
If you come to SBC on a Sunday morning I may possibly be the one who welcomes you, or guides you to an empty seat.
