Stapleford Baptist Church

Sunday Worship

We meet in the morning at 10:30am to sing, prayer, read the bible and to have teaching from the bible.

Join us this Christmas as we host Saltmine Theatre Company with their family Christmas Show "Neverland".
With original music and a big pinch of fairy dust, fly with Peter, Wendy and Tinkerbell as they discover a story that's big enough for everyone to play a part and where no one is written out.
Wendy and her talented but struggling mum are stuck. Stuck for money, stuck in a tiny flat, and worst of all, stuck for ideas. Overlooked and unnoticed, they’re desperate – until one night, a mysterious boy flies right out of his story and into theirs. And he needs their help.
Wreaking havoc on Neverland is one person who will do anything to make sure things go his way. Nefarious pirate Captain J.A.S Hook has been Peter Pan’s enemy for as long as either of them can remember – and Neverland isn’t big enough for the both of them.
Who will win the happy -ever -after? And what if everyone loses?

All people, loved the same

As a Bible believing Church, we want to encourage one another to follow Jesus each day and to serve God within our local community. We aim to care for each other and for those about us. Our outreach activities for both old, young and those in the middle, help to do so.

As a brief summary, we belive that God sent his Son Jesus to rescue us from the consequences of our behaviour towards God. The Bible tells us to turn way from what we used to do and to turn to Jesus for mercy and forgiveness.  We trust the Bible as God's words to us, and believe it it tells us, not only how to become a follower of Jesus (a Christian) but also how to keep on following Jesus each day of our lives amd that is what we, as a church, are trying to do here in Stapleford.  Our full statsmemt of faith can be found here
