We value everyone who is part of our church family and work hard to help our youth learn about Jesus and grow in their understanding with Him, whether that’s on a Sunday or during the week.
We begin our Sunday services altogether and then our young people are invited to join their small group leaders to learn more from the Bible. Visiting youngsters are more than welcome to join in. We also have challenge sheets and sermon notes to help our youth participate in the service.
SBC Youth (age11+)
Our volunteers use imaginative and creative ways to share the Bible – there are discussions, quizzes, puzzles and often doughnuts!
During the Week
.All young people (ages 6-16) are welcome to join us each Friday, during term time, to enjoy our high-energy crazy games, quieter crafts and interactive activities as we learn from the Bible together and eat snacks!
We break into smaller age appropriate groups to study the Bible and our volunteers work hard to make the sessions creative, engaging and relevant to young people. We usually go away twice a year – once for a residential at Gaines Manor in Worcester and once to the REBOOT conference in London.
Gaines Manor usually hosts our Spring time residential for those in Years 7+ when we make the most of outdoor pursuits, interesting crafts and have the time to learn more, to ask questions, and to think about our faith.
This is our annual day out in London to enjoy sightseeing and have the opportunity to investigate Christianity and different perspectives on life.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and young people . Our Safeguarding Statement can be viewed here
